A couple new ones from my grandma notepad

I have had more innocent days I guess.

Young Boy
Sterilized by coins
Washed by dirt,
Outcast from the sun
Show your face.

Instigate the ruckus
that caused this dilemma,
It got so delusional
After that year.

Wishing you were back
In a place
So rare
So Tender.

Where affiliations
and presentations
were a thing
of the past.

Substitute your innocence
with something so pure,
Reinvent the wheel,
accumulate the clouds.

As your air thickens
and lungs struggle to breathe,
Remember how it was...

Remember me.

Mahogany
Child like actions
Explain your weakness.
You never sit up straight,
Crumbs tumbling down your shirt.

A way to conceal
A way to hide,
Button up that shirt
with your head stuck inside.

As big a chump
as you are a fool,
Typical answers
to a string on a spool.

Relentless on who you are
Won't take advice,
Caught in a weary globe
full of spectacles from some
device.
