Today

I put this as a note on my phone quite a while ago and just stumbled upon it today:

Today I realized how much I love my life and wouldn't change it for the world. Here is a poem to pass the time.

No Title

Sublime nights of insight
dark light
when times are tight
and can despite.

Oh how time can fly
waiting for rye
in and out, so invested
and obliged.

But now I see why
love is knee high
in winced rhymes
of a river en route.

Sparkling divots of water
drop
as they twinkle on
a dark eye lash.

Before you turn,
your arms have dirt
crumbling down
hair blocking the destination.

Never step back
for time will unwind
leaving it and all you cherish
behind.
