Minneapolis = Money Hungry, Dishonest, Stupid Pay Machines

I am absolutely saddened by how many hoops Minneapolis makes you jump through to be a justified human in that city.

I know there are more examples of this dishonest trash, but here is one thing to help you avoid this city:

The 6th St South Parking ramp across from Thrivent Financial and Government Center is an absolute joke!! $15 for an hours worth of parking. $2 if you can get out in 20 minutes which is a rarity because you most likely have to walk through a sky way or two to get to where you need to be. Oh and $8 if you are out before noon, which I was...But you don't realize this until after you have paid the happy little money sucking machines which make you park before you can exit, feed them your juicy looking grade A debit card, and get back to your car and leave.

There is my rant for the morning. Really wish this Hindu Temple in Maple Grove, MN still offered yoga classes during the winter, it might actually allow me to accept the parking ramps for a split second until my common sense kicks in and causes me to thrash into a seizure. Although the outdoor classes would not make much sense in the winter unless you are into that sort of Eskimo behavior I still think I would like to try it out. It would bring me back to the temples I visited while I was in Bangkok and Hanoi.

Measles Innitiative

I saw this posted today on Twitter via Red Cross. There is a Measles Initiative to vaccinate villages that have been affected. From what I remember learning about measles, it is not a pretty disease and spreads very quickly.Wikipedia: Measles I would love to be able to do this and form a team to raise money. I would want to make sure it's secure and all the money is transferred directly to the villages with measles. You are able to include an anonymous gift along with your money you raise. Vaccinate A Villiage

Please contact me if you are interested in starting a team, I thought a goal of $5,000.00 would be good.

My email is sharonrosejohnson09@gmail.com

Thanks.

Motorcycle Diaries/ 'Che' Guevara

LET THE WORLD CHANGE YOU AND YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
Everyone needs to see this movie. I don't care if you are up on 'Che' Guevara or not, because I wasn't until now. For a 23 year old, this movie completely changed my thoughts on life. What an experience it is to hit the open road and become a revolutionary. Not saying that everyone in the world will do something like this, but it's just inspiring and jaw dropping and I had the chills pretty much the whole time. Obviously I don't want to ruin it, but all I will say is if you feel you want to do something important in your life, and you are not sure what it is, watch this movie and it might give you the push you need to make a difference. I cannot wait to read all of the books and become more informed about him. 'Che' Guevara
